Happy Saturday to everyone. We had a great, yet sad Friday night. It was our last night with our tour manager and good friend Danny Vance before he embarks on his journey back home to Brighton, England. We had a great time hanging/kicking his ass for the last few months and were all sad to see him go. It's okay though, something tells me we are going to see him this spring, maybe. (hint hint)
On February 9th, Hopeless Records' none profit organization, Sub City, will be releasing the 9th volume of their "Take Action" Compilation. A portion of the proceeds go to charity, you can read about the details of that, along with a track listing HERE
Our remix of "Hot Mess" by Cobra Starship will be featured on the comp. You can pre-order by hitting the link above as well.
ALSO, for those of you who asked, there is a solid link to Patrick's Remix of "She Loves Me So" by Anthony Green below. I kept uploading that to zshare or yousendit, and the link expires quickly. This link is permanent, so download away.
[note: if you're crafty you can download this using view source. otherwise, I seem to have broken something soooooo when I get to a computer I'll try to make it work for everyone. -andy ]
The biggest bummer of my week was self inflicted. This past Thursday, UK drum and bass behemoth, Noisia played in NYC. I don't use the "B" word lightly, this dude's bass tone is the deepest, nastiest out there right now. I had been planning on going for weeks. At the beggining of this past week, I decided not to stay for the show, and do the responsible thing and come home to tie up some of my many loose ends here in Reading. Last night Jesse pulled this youtube clip up, and unknowingly reminded me of how stupid of a move that was. Around 2:30, shit gets real.
Noisia with Foreign Beggars
Also been digging on the new Felt Record (Slug and Murs) as well

Does this mean you are hitting the UK soon? o_O
I hope so! I've never seen IPS live before, only the videos posted. God it looks so good. Can't wait to see the new show though.
Stupidly late in replying to this, but that Noisia track is killer. They've produced Hadouken's new album and that too has some sick basslines in it. I need to hear more of these guys.
